2. Long Ke Wan Campsite

You will have to bring everything you need since the campsite is not only far from town but also only has  basic facilities such as dry toilets and barbecue pits. 3. Nam Shan Campsite

Very accessible, and convenient transportation at just about the mid-point of Mui Wo and Pui O, Nam Shan campsite has all the facilities you need for you beginner campers out there. There is a stream by the campsite that provides campers with natural spring water too. Want to fit in a beach day on your camping trip? Walk or take a quick bus ride to Pui O, or even the Cheung Sha Beaches.

4. Ham Tin Wan Campsite

Best Beach Getaway

 

 

 

Located on the eastern coast of Sai Kung Country Park, Ham Tin Campsite is a secluded spot that offers stunning views of the sea and the surrounding mountains. There are no facilities on site, so campers need to bring their own supplies. Luckily the beach has its own tuck shop to buy food and drinks from. The beach is a popular spot for swimming and picnicking, don’t miss the sunsets and sunrises here as the views are spectacular.

5. Tung Lung Chau Campsite

For an island getaway

 

 

 

 

 

This underrated island is the best place for a weekend island getaway. The campsite is reachable by kaito at Sam Ka Tsuen Public Pier in Lei Yue Mun and Shau Kei Wan.

On the island you’ll find the Tung Lung Fort, which according to record, was built in the Qing Dynasty (between 1662 and 1722) and defended pirates, and the largest ancient rock carving in Hong Kong.
